In reference to the periodic table on the Materials Language project. There is a new series on BBC4 about chemistry. The presenter is a bit wooden, but nevertheless its interesting to see what happens when you put an iron bolt on the surface of Mercury, how to make a primitive battery, or Humphrey Davey heating potash to find potassium. Especially interesting if you have been reading Primo Levi's The Periodic Table.
